Everything was nice, detailed, and giving . Each speaker has given and poured into us. My confidence and drive has been restored after attending this conference. Personally, I've enjoyed every presentation. The conference gave us the what to do and ended what how to keep doing what you're doing on a business level. My favorite has been the scientific explanations from Zuri and Melissa related to technique and pigments. I just loved everyone's presentations not to point one person out or leave anyone out. I'm beyond grateful and proud to have been of the first annual PMUCON .

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend?

PMUCon is hyper-focused on improving the healed work of women of color. As a result, the focus is improving skill-set and technique, and learning ways to enhance your business. As such, this conference is best suited for artists who have some basic PMU training and/or may be actively working in the industry.

Why should I attend?

PMUCon has intentionally selected the best trainers with the most experience servicing women of color. Each trainer selected is considered a master in their area of expertise.

Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?

Yes. Following each demonstration, there will be an opportunity afforded to ask questions regarding technique. PMUCon will also feature a speaker panel with dedicated time to speak more openly with speakers.

Will I be able to buy and/or learn about new products?

There will be several vendors at the conference showcasing products, including products sold by some of the trainers.

Do I have to be certified to attend?

While not required, having been trained in at least one PMU technique will enrich the conference experience. Given the conference focuses on improving healed work, to some degree having experience performing procedures is ideal but not necessary.
